The Finer Things in Life
If your like most people, myself included, we all like to treat ourselves to the Finer things in Life. If not alot, at least every once in a while. Some examples that I consider a treat for me are getting my hair done, having Manicures and Pedicures, enjoying some Rejuvenation, Renewing and Relaxation time with some wonderful Skincare, Bath and Body, and Specialty Treatments such as Anti- Aging products. And then again, who doesn't like to vacation.!
Well, I just happen to be in a position where the things I mentioned above are easily accessible and if you read my profile it will give you an idea as to why some of these things are accessible.
I am a Hairstylist and have been in the industry for 29 years and I soooo love this job because I get to go to work everyday and help people feel good about themselves in the way that they look. I am not only there to do their hair but to listen to them tell their life stories and to be there when they need a friend or a pick-me-up, in the way they look and feel. And by furthering my education in the Salon, I am able to do the latest styles and techniques such as the Non-Chemical Keratin Smoothing System which is a process of Smoothing/Straightening the hair for up to four to six months. This is the Latest in Straighting the hair and you wouldn't believe how Healthy, Shiny and Straight the hair is after the process. Everyone loves this treatment!
As a Consultant of BeautiControl, I get to help achieve what Skincare and Make-up products are best for each Client, for everyday use and for those special occasions such as Weddings and Proms. BeautiControl products are best compared with "mall" products such as Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique and others and our Microderm Abrasion was even featured as one of "Oprah's" Favorites in her "O" Magazine. This business is such a Win-Win situation because when they feel good it makes me feel good to know that I have accomplished what I have set out to do .... and that is to make them smile and to be happy and to forget about the stress in their lives for at least the amount of time they have spent with me.
As far as Vacation time or Traveling that is another Stress reliever and Finer thing in my life that I like to do. As I said before, we have two children that are the age to where they Loooove Disney World and have been enough times to know how to plan accomodations of all kinds such as dining, and NOT Hotels but Resorts. (Maybe that should be my next calling ... a Travel Agent, haha) And if you like to stay in Resorts (and you travel at least once or twice a year) then Let me know and I can hook you up there, also. I have found a way to invest your money for your vacations and travels instead of throwing that money out of the window.
Now you might be saying to yourself .... "I'm not in the same position as you". Well, you don't have to be. I am an everyday working person just the same as yourself but have been around the block enough to know how to work and play , not only hard, but smart. And Trust me it took a while to do that and I love to share these things with any and everyone who also likes the Finer Things in Life.
